Yes, I took the word verification off.
I've had a few people mention it to me, and so here is the official reasoning:
I hate Spam. I hate word verification. I hate spam more, so it was a necessary evil, but I got annoyed with it.
It was designed to fool automated computers, but more often than not I got it wrong. Why it has to be 8 letters long I'll never know. 3 or 4 would be sufficient.
So I am word verification free - until the spammers find me, and then I'll put it back on - annoying as it is.
Stupid spammers.
